Animation of the Day: Caddo Vessel from the Middlebrook Collection

by Bernard K. Means, Director of the Virtual Curation Laboratory

Middlebrook_41SY41_B1V9Today’s animation is an American Indian ceramic vessel that was not scanned in the Virtual Curation Laboratory (VCL) but rather was scanned by Zac Selden of the Center for Regional Heritage Research (CRHR) at Stephen F. Austin State University.  This Caddo vessel is from a collection maintained by CRHR Research Fellow Dr. Tom Middlebrook’s in his repository in Nacogdoches, Texas.  CRHR and VCL are virtually collaborating to make vessels in this collection more widely accessible and visible.  For more on this collaboration and this collection, see Zac Selden’s post at : http://crhrarchaeology.wordpress.com/2014/02/05/virtual-collaboration-crhr-vcl-and-the-middlebrook-collection-selden-and-means/
