Today’s animation is a very small clay vessel from the Pig Point site (18AN50) and was excavated by the Lost Towns Project located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The vessel was scanned in the Virtual Curation Laboratory on Monday, March 17, 2014, edited and then printed by Digital Curation Specialist Lauren Volkers. Digital Zooarchaeologist Mariana Zechini painted two replicas of the vessel.
