Today’s animation is a smoking pipe recovered archaeologically from the Cabin Run site (44Wr3), an American Indian village site located near Front Royal, Virginia.  The smoking pipe with molded hands was scanned at the  Virginia Museum of Natural History on August 6, 2013 by Ashley McCuistion and Lauren Volkers.
