Animation of the Day: Bed Bolt from Ferry Farm

Today’s animation is a bed bolt recovered archaeologically at George Washington’s Ferry Farm in one of the cellar’s below the house the George Washington grew up.  This bolt would have helped hold together a twin-sized wooden bed frame.
