Today ‘s animation is a megalodon tooth recovered archaeologically from the Jordan’s Journey site, which is located in Prince George County, Virginia.   It was scanned at the Virginia Department of Historic Resources on Monday, October 10, 2014, on behalf of VCL intern Lauren Hogg, who is researching and preparing exhibits on the Jordan’s Journey site.  The megalodon was the largest shark that ever lived.
