Animation of the Day: Bacon’s Rebellion Bomb Fragment from Jamestown

Today’s animation is an iron alloy bomb fragment recovered archaeologically by Jamestown Rediscovery. This object was involved in the September 19, 1676 attack led by Nathaniel Bacon against the colonial capital and Governor William Berkely.
