Today’s animation is a toy Navy Blimp that is on display in the museum at the  Fort Lee Regional Archaeological Curation Facility (RACF).  The toy was scanned to help highlight the collections and exhibits at RACF.

Animation of the Day: Deer Scapula from Fort Lee RACF

Today’s animation is a scapula from a deer that was scanned in the Virtual Curation Laboratory.  This vertebra is on loan from the Fort Lee Regional Archaeological Curation Facility (RACF) to aid in the development of a digital zooarchaeological type collection, and for replication to be used in research, outreach, and teaching. This vertebra was found on the surface and is not archaeological in nature.  It has been affected by its exposure to the elements.
